Constanze Quartet

The musical paths of the four musicians of the Constanze Quartet, who come from different countries and continents, were all to meet in the small, yet globally unique musical metropolis of Salzburg. The birthplace of Mozart became the ideal artistic breeding ground for the different temperaments from France, Armenia and Austria to find a common musical language.
After a sensational live performance on Radio France in Paris in 2018, a prestigious success followed with a place as finalists in the ‘Eugène Ysaÿe’ chamber music competition in Liège, followed by a 3rd place at the international Anton Rubinstein Competition in Düsseldorf.
The engagement by the German CD label CPO attracted attention. The complete recording of the string quartets by the German late Romantic composer Felix Draeseke was recorded for the first time to great critical acclaim. This was followed by the production of the complete string quartets of Michael Haydn and those of Emilie Mayer, a contemporary of Beethoven
