Ensemble 1756 & Solo Oboe

Tamar Inbar, oboe

Ensemble 1756, founded in Salzburg, brings together musicians who completed most of their artistic training at the Mozarteum University Salzburg and who now perform with leading orchestras and ensembles. Appearing in a variety of formations, the ensemble cultivates a lively approach to music-making that unites chamber-music precision with a rich palette of sound.
This concert places the oboe in the spotlight as a solo instrument. The program offers a multifaceted perspective on Mozart’s oeuvre, guiding the listener through different creative periods - from youthful freshness to the depth of his later works. With its distinctive, singing tone and refined expressive range, the oboe reveals a unique voice within Mozart’s music. Technical brilliance and subtle tonal shading intertwine with an engaging musical dialogue between soloist and ensemble, creating a compelling and memorable listening experience.
