Ensemble 1756, founded in Salzburg, brings together musicians who received their training primarily at the Mozarteum University Salzburg and who are now active in renowned orchestras and ensembles. Performing in flexible formations, the ensemble combines the refinement of chamber music with a vibrant ensemble culture.
This concert is dedicated to the art of solo violin playing and invites the audience on a musical journey through Mozart’s masterpieces - from the lightness of his early years to the expressive depth of his mature compositions. Virtuosity, elegance, and intimate expressiveness take center stage, as does the captivating passion that makes the interplay between soloist and ensemble a truly special listening experience.
