Erato Ensemble

Six Salzburg-based artist decided to join their creative spirits in the new „Erato Ensemble“ chamber music group and to celebrate classical music tradition through masterpieces of different genres. In the program carefully chosen for the Mirabell Marble hall, Mozart’s childhood stage, „Erato“ dives into the classical period with some of the most beautiful works written for string quartett, flute quartett and piano solo with strings.
Although active as soloists or as orchestral musicians in different possitions (Mozarteum orchestra, Salzburg Philharmonie, Camerata, etc.) – the love for chamber music has always been tracing their career path. The most intimate act of frienship through music-playing, listening and reacting could be our civilization aim in the times of conflicts and wars.
