The violinist Maria Held was born in Berlin into a musical family.
Her talent for violin-playing became evident at a very early age. She studied with Helga Thoene, Max Speermann, Grigori Zhislin and finished her studies at the International Menuhin Music Academy in Switzerland with Alberto Lysy and Liviu Prunaru. She participated also in masterclasses with Thomas Brandis, Daniel Gaede, Victor Tretiakov, Antje Weithaas, Helmut Zehetmair and many others.
In 2000, she won the 3rd prize in the category "Solo" at the 4th International Penderecki Competition in Krakòw/Poland.
She appeared as a soloist with the Camerata Lysy Gstaad in Switzerland, Spain, Portugal and Japan.
Maria Held served many years as concertmaster in different German professional orchestras, played in such high-profile orchestras as the Gewandhaus Orchestra Leipzig, Bamberg Symphony Orchestra, Staatskapelle Dresden and Bruckner Orchestra Linz and took part in concert tours throughout Europe and Asia.
Chamber music has always been a main source of joy to her.

The pianist Eric Chumachenco is of Swiss-Russian origin.
The young pianist studied with Edith Picht-Axenfeld, Maria Curcio, Vitalij Margulis and Christoph Lieske. He participated in masterclasses with Nikita Magaloff and György Kurtág.
He is equally active as a soloist (for instance with the Camerata Academica Salzburg, the Zurich Chamber Orchestra or the Virtuosi Saxoniae) as in the field of chamber music. In the year 2000, he performed together with Marjana Lipovšek and Benjamin Schmid at the Carinthischer Sommer. Intensive artistic collaboration connected him with Sandor Végh, Thomas Christian, Shmuel Ashkenazy, Ruggiero Ricci and many others.
In 2004, he presented himself at the Salzburg Festival with the 2. sonata for violin and piano by Wilhelm Furtwängler.
In 2006, he recorded the 24 études by Chopin on an original Graf-fortepiano in Innsbruck.
His transcription of Carl Orff’s “Carmina Burana” for solo piano enjoys worldwide success.
Since 1990, Eric Chumachenco is active as a Lied accompanist and artistic collaborator in the vocal classes at the University Mozarteum Salzburg. From 2001 to 2009 he also held a position as chamber music professor at the International Menuhin Music Academy Gstaad.

Hannah Vinzens studied cello in London, Basel and Salzburg. At the age of 17 she began her studies within the one-year program for gifted youngsters at the Guildhall School London, then persued her bachelor studies with Rafael Rosenfeld at the City of Basel Music Academy. She completed her Master studies with Enrico Bronzi at the University Mozarteum in Salzburg and finished these with distinction.
Hannah Vinzens obtained scholarships from numerous sponsors and won prizes at various national and international competitions.
Her work together with first-class ensembles helped her obtain an intensive concert activity throughout and beyond Europe. In addition, Hannah Vinzens is in strong demand as a baroque cellist and as such an important member of the Salzburger Hofmusik and in the BachWerkVokal Salzburg ensemble. Her work is documented by many CD recordings.
As a chamber musician she works closely with her duo partners Noah Vinzens, Gereon Kleiner and Gordon Safari.
She plays a Neapolitan cello from the year 1756, which is generously put at her disposal.
