Constanze Quartet

The CONSTANZE QUARTETT, called after the widow of W. A. Mozart, is an ensemble of four internationally renomed and ambitious artists who found the ideal inspiration for their high-class performances in Salzburg.

Emeline Pierre on the first violin was known as a distinguished violin teacher in one of the conservatories of Lyon/France, as well as a successful member of the Pima Vista Quartet. Lately she joined the sinfony orchestra of San Sebastian/Spain as one of the string leaders.
Esther Gutierrez Redondo on the second violin is the violinist of the world famous Gutierrez-Duo, with her sister Sara, of increasing international acclaim.
Sandra Garcia Hwung on the viola received the prize of best spanish chamber musician in 2014 out of the hands of the spanish Queen Sofia.
Born in Bayonne, France, Marion Platero was accepted at the Paris Conservatory at the age of 15. In the class of Philippe Muller, where she obtained her Master Degree five years later in cello and chamber music with the highest possible grades.
Marion Platero has been the recipient of numerous prizes.
She performs in concert around the world both as soloist and chamber musician.

The four artists impress with their fresh, temperamentful and soulful interpretations: These characteristics are a result of the musical school and tradition of Salzburg, as well as their charme and attractivity on stage. The repertoire of the CONSTANZE QUARTETT embraces nearly all major works. With pleasure, the ensemble likes to invite external artists to join the marvelous repertoire of quintets.
